Successor to the popular EF70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM, this versatile telephoto zoom lens incorporates the Nano USM technology for highly precise, swift, and silent AF. The reduced minimal focal distance from 1.5m to 1.2m enables users to easily adapt to a range of challenging environments. With an IS performance equivalent to approximately 4 shuttle speed stops, up from the previous 2.5 stops, the EF70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS II USM is able to ensure sharpness of images when shooting at a longer focal length. In addition, the Lens Information Display with a mode switch button to toggle between displays allows users to be better-informed to take better quality images.
